I listened to all of the 42 songs I’d written, and these were the ones I thought were best.

Some choices were made based on feedback I’d received from other people, but others were chosen based on my instincts.

If I ever become a big-time rock star, it will almost certainly be a result of one or two of these songs taking off.

On the other hand, the last two songs will never be a hit for me or anybody else.  But, damn! they’re good songs.
